KaleidaCare CEO, Alistair Deakin, recently returned from visiting with Members of Congress, as part of the Child Welfare League of America’s (“CWLA”) Advocacy Day. On Tuesday, February 24, 2009, Deakin joined with leaders from agencies from all over the country to visit with Members of Congress, and help brief them on pressing issues facing the community of child welfare providers. KaleidaCare proudly sponsors the 2008 “Sunshine Kids Cruise to the Capitol” event benefitting children with cancer
KaleidaCare Management Solutions is proud to be a sponsor of the 2008 annual “Sunshine Kids Cruise to the Capitol.” Organized by Showcars 4 Kids, this exciting event takes 30 kids with cancer on a wild car cruise leading to the Texas state capitol in downtown Austin, Texas. The children will then get a personal tour of the capitol building and meet with the Speaker of the House and the Governor.
